I have only had this pot for about a month and I really like it. I can't believe how fast it heats up water to the desired temperature. Much, much faster than heating it on the stove. The real beauty of this pot is that you can make the proper selection for the type of tea you are going to drink. I looked at many, many pots and read lots of reviews before I settled on this one. The other plus is the price - it was so reasonable for what it does. But setting price aside, if the item doesn't perform like it is supposed to perform, paying $5 for the item would have been too expensive.

If you are serious about drinking tea then this is your tea kettle. It is very easy to use and it works great. The markings on the temperature knob are not quite right. The green tea setting boils water so you have to turn the knob to near the lowest temperature setting for green tea. Other than that small gripe it is perfect.
