Deep midnight blue and shades of buff and gold are used to great effect in this design rich with scrolls, ropes and neoclassic flourishes. Pure white is a perfect foil for the rich detail and glimmer of gold accenting each piece. Richly decorative, Wedgwood's Cornucopia dinnerware makes a striking statement at formal dining occasions. Combining opulent tones and mythical imagery, it has a highly distinctive look that is perfect for special occasions. Starting with a base of pure white bone china, the pattern features broad borders of flecked parchment tones. Narrow bands of ochre and dark blue define the edges, and a rope-style border adds dimension and detail. A single elegant cornucopia motif and generous 22-karat gold banding at the rims create a note of sophistication and polish. This salad plate in this place setting for one features a lovely variation in the pattern. Its widest band is dark blue and set with finely detailed images of satyrs, unicorns, fish, fawns, and monkeys amid elaborate scrollwork.
