I broke my old, old beaker and ordered a replacement-- but it was hard to know exactly which product and what size to order because Bodum doesn't mark either beaker or frame with size -- a BIG drawback. However, we DID order the correct size after all-- I guess 34-ounce is standard? -- and it arrived from Amazon lightning fast! The beaker now is printed with use instructions, and at the bottom of these is a small "8 (2)" (which I took to mean 8-cup, but what "2" means I can't imagine). Overall very satisfied, especially with ease of ordering and speed of delivery.

A very human error broke my original 26 year old Bodum coffee press beaker, (mostly used for tea).
Happily, a replacement was available, and my Bodum press is back in business!

When I placed my order for the Bodum Eileen 8 cup French Press coffee carafe, I saw the 34 ounce replacement beaker on the website. The price was lower than retail stores so I decided to buy it too. I always have a replacement back up on hand. I've had beakers break in use (either dropping it while washing or using a metal spoon to stir which is a no - no) so I like to have one on hand which is especially useful when entertaining. You don't want to be without the use of your French Press at any time!
