Dizzy December 3, 2008 Nanette Seip (maryland) Just took my 5th pill - noticed yesterday afternoon that I felt dizzy. Now after the 5th pill I immediately got dizzy. I don't know whether to continue or not - usually if you have a side effect it will pass within a couple of weeks - but I don't honestly see any difference in my appetite or my overall being. I'm on estrogen for menopause and 3 other medications, but the reviews I read said that it doesn't interact with any drugs. I really don't know if I'm going to continue.....
1 Star? Really? Because you are allergic to berries? Well, anyway, MY review... November 22, 2008 Christmas Eve 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
Yes, you should definitely not take acai berries if you are allergic to berries. That much should be quite obvious. Now rating a product poorly because you are allergic is a bit harsh. I am allergic to GLUTEN. I will not go around rating all things containing gluten one star. Let's be reasonable. Now about the acai berry. It has helped my vision. I don't know how. I have astigmatism - perhaps it helps that. I really don't know how it is doing it but it is helping my eyesight. I have been taking this very product for around a week now. Energy levels are off the charts. And I have an autoimmune disease similar to Lupus that knocks my energy levels down like you would not believe. I haven't had this energy in over four years. I am so thankful that this little berry from the Amazon exists. Thousands of people take this berry everyday. Now thousands can't be wrong, can they? It isn't a drug. It is natural. It is a BERRY. If you are allergic to strawberries or blueberries or any other type of berries, DO NOT USE. But then also don't rate this great product negatively for your own BODY'S intolerance to it. Please. This company has helped a lot of people and if it can go on helping people, allow that to happen without hurting its sales. Do be sure to note that if you are allergic to strawberries or blueberries or other berries, this may not be the product for you. But that is what research is for. ;) For the rest of you that aren't allergic to berries, try it. What do you have to lose? Give it some time though. It's not an overnight thing. It isn't a drug. So you have to allow it time to really do the body good. I also paid 9.99 for mine at Walgreens. Amazon is really giving you a deal at 4.99, so GRAB IT WHILE YOU CAN.
fine with me November 14, 2008 W. J. Elvin (Adirondack foothills, USA) 5 out of 7 found this review helpful
Though I understand if someone has a reaction to a food, supplement or anything else, I consider myself a good test case and I have no problem with this product. My skin is like radar, anything "different" on the screen and I react. Also, I'd think twice before buying into some of the reviews that pop up when you check this stuff out on a search engine. I'm no scientist and can't vouch for the quality of this particular product but those reviews don't look very scientific, more like commercials. Anyway, I tried one order and I'm still kicking, even feeling pretty good, so I ordered three more.
did not help my skin October 12, 2008 M. Johnson (Seattle, WA USA) 4 out of 15 found this review helpful
