prepared for a hip replacement May 8, 2008 William G. Corristan The elevated toilet seat works great with a hip replacement. Easy to install and comfortable to use.
Excellent Raised Seat February 5, 2008 WSNHB (Colorado Springs, CO USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had hip replacement surgery and it was necessary to have a raised toilet seat installed at home. After raising toilet lid/seat, it was very easy to install this item. HINT: Take a toilet lid cover and put over the raised lid/seat--makes it very comfy. This seat is excellent and very sturdy. I would recommend it to anyone needing for that purpose!
very prompt service December 24, 2007 Doctor Frank (usa) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I ordered 2 weeks before Christmas and expected a delay. To my delight it arrived in 6 days including a weekend. The product was also first class.
Easy and comforting May 13, 2007 M. Cook (Queens NY) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I got this toilet seat for my grandmother who broke her wrist. She has had no complaints. It is a great relief for the family that she is able to be independent in the bathroom.
Doesn't seat well to toilet April 4, 2007 Yeolla (Calif) 17 out of 17 found this review helpful
I sure hope all who read this is somehow helped by my comments. This purchased marked a new path in my world. Elder care. There isn't much information or reviews available on items like these. Installation and assembly were pretty easy. No tools needed. I liked the fact it had arms to assist when getting up or down. Yet if one doesn't apply equal pressure to both sides this baby will tilt and land your love one right on to the floor. Would not order this feature again. In my opinion it doesn't fasten tight enough on to the toilet seat. I tried with and without the toilet lid attached did not lessen the amount of play side to side. What it has is a clamp that you screw down and it will clip on to the front edge of bottom of toilet rim. This is the only attachment point. If someone sits down close to the front the rear will pop up out of place. Not a good thing! On the plus side, it is easy to clean. Raises one up about 5 inches off the floor so its less of a distance to sit down to. Yet if you are 5 ft or shorter you will not be able to touch the floor with the bottoms of your feet. It is wide and comfortable. Has a depression in the front to allow for ease in self clean up. How about it? IS there anyone out there who would like to design an better elevated toilet seat? Sure hope so!
