Great for rough skin on feet, hands October 6, 2008 E. Mennillo (Virginia) I bought this product and while it does not smell like roses, I use it on my hands (covered with cotton gloves) and feet (covered with white cotton thick socks. It does soften and get into the dry area of the heels. It is thick, so I use a spatula to put it on my feet, cover my hands with surgical gloves and massage into my feet. It works! No more cracked skin.
Lanolin from NOW Foods September 30, 2008 George A. Rappolt This product does what I need it to do, which is to protect the skin between my toes from cracking open and bleeding. If you have severe problems with "chapped" skin, either from dryness or excess moisture, try lanolin.
So happy to find this good deal on something I need so much. February 5, 2008 Rosemary Gwaltney (Idaho, USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I'm thrilled to find pure lanolin, so inexpensively! You see, I have an adult daughter who is severely disabled, must wear diapers, and has very sensitive skin. Her doctor and I, between us, tried everything we could find, for years, fighting one particularly stubborn patch of irritated, red-bumped skin. Then I found lanolin! Within two weeks, this patch, which was the size of a dinner plate, had faded almost completely away! I am SO impressed. Nothing else worked, prescription or otherwise. Three cheers for lanolin, and for this place which sells it for less money. I spent 15. on the first tube I found, which was 2 ounces! Thank you.

Pure lanolin is ideal for chapped hands as it doesn't wash off as easily as most hand creams--it also doesn't dissolve the inks on glossy magazines. Used daily on your feet, it will prevent dry callused feet. Lanolin is sold in two forms. One is "anhydrous" meaning it doesn't contain water and has an initial oily feel; the other is "hydrous" lanolin which contains water, making it creamy. Both are good.
Lanolin from Amazon.com March 14, 2006 V. Powers (High in Colorado mountains) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Lanolin -- in pure form -- is very difficult to find. This product is just fine and I'm glad to find a source for it. The fact that it is labeled "liquid" is a bit misleading. Under most temperature conditions it is a "cream." Nothing beats this product for chapped lips, cold-weather cracks, and heel cracks.
