It's not that great November 6, 2006 J. Yankelove (Austin, TX USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this product thinking that it would be the "powder" form of "red bull." When you compare the ingredients in this cocktail to that of red bull, you will find they are extremely similar. Why I don't think this product is that great: 1. Taste. The taste is mildly unpleasant. Red bull, monster energy, and tab energy completely blow this product away in terms of taste. 2. CALORIES! Did anyone else notice that the serving size for this product is 150 calories? Red bull is either 120 or 10 depending on type. Monster has the same caloric break down as red bull. Tab energy, which I think is best energy drink on the market, contains 5 calories. 3. Doesn't mix very well. You will get to enjoy clumps of powder. 4. The almighty "buzz." I get about a 5 min rush from this product. I get more of a buzz from 2 cups of coffee. One red bull/monster/tab all give me a bigger buzz then this product. If you are looking for the ultimate energy supplement, I can't suggest this product. So far the best mix I have ever found is: 1 no doze, 1 monster energy, and 1 choline + gingko supplement. This mix gave me a HUGE buzz that carried me through my AM classes. (It got me through 8am statistics, a class lasting 2 hours).
Good, fast-acting stuff. I like it. February 25, 2006 E. Arjona (San Diego) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was tempted to give this item 4 stars due to the rather steep price but overall I think it is a great product. It does what it advertises: gives you a kick and gets you focused and thinking... fast! Because it contains caffeine, I think the recommended dosage of 4 Tbsp is way too much. I get by perfectly with 2-3 Tsp. I guess you could use this every day, albeit an expensive daily commodity. Great for days when you need that extra brain power to get the job done. Multitaskers rejoice.
Not a drastic difference, but still sold September 13, 2005 J. Moore 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I also bought based on the Fortune article. I've gone through two bottles at the suggested dosage. I'm ordering a third because although I generally feel pretty alert mentally, I'd like to keep it that way!
My goodness, it works July 23, 2005 BBALLSTAN 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I read about this product in Fortune magazine purporting it to be a brain food and add energy. Well, after a bit of research with respect to ingredients, I bought a couple of bottles. Lo and behold, the stuff works and it doesn't tast bad at all. I defintely feel more alert with extra energy. An excellent product.
