Great for stomach discomfort: I am allergic to certain foods, and sometimes if I eat bell peppers or onions by accident, my stomach has an awful reaction. Nausea, inflammation, etc. My N.D. turned me on to Triphala as a way to stop the pain and discomfort associated with these incidents, and the herbs work within 20-30 minutes. So rather than taking Triphala on a regular schedule for maintenance or cleansing, I just use it when my tummy is unbearable. Get a small bottle and try it out. If you go to your local healthfood store, they will probably have it. If it doesn't work for you, it's nice to be able to return it quickly rather than having to mail it back...just an idea. =)
