OK to try but I cancelled my subscription; also nuts are salted October 21, 2008 bothellbuyer (WA USA) I prefer a chewy dried fruit or crunchy dried fruit and these are too juicy and plump. May be just what YOU like, but not for me. I opened all the packages and am trying to get the fruit part drier. Fruit bits are whole fruit so I cut them up into smaller pieces. Also, the nuts are salted. Read the ingredients...salt is included in listing. I prefer Bare Fruits mangos.
Kind of expensive September 18, 2008 Borat (NJ USA) This is a a lot of money to spend for not that much food -- even taking into consideration the $10 off sale. This product costs almost $1.00 per ounce. To put that into perspective, filet minion costs about $0.62 per ounce. These fruits and nuts are much more expensive than the best cut of beef. The fruit is in the main bag and the nuts (which are salted) are in a secondary package -- presumably to keep them from absorbing moisture. I liked the taste but can't justify the high price. I will not order this again.
Just right July 29, 2007 Tammy (CA USA) I find this to be a good product. Like the convenience of having individual bags because it stays fresh until you are ready to eat it. Also keeping the nuts bagged separately helps to maintain their crunch. I keep them in my desk at the office. I also find they satisfy my sweet tooth if I am wanting just a little something after lunch.
The Perfect Combo of Nuts and Fruits June 20, 2007 Sarah R. Grayson 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I love Peeled Snack's Figsated. First of all, it is the only dried fruit combo I have ever seen with figs, and they are delicious. Also, the nuts are delicious and fresh, not stale like many dried nuts. Also, the nuts are GOOD nuts - you get pistachios and almonds. I love this snack and like to take it on any plane ride I take or just carry it around as a great, healthy pick-me up for the afternoon munchies.
tastes good but not worth the money June 1, 2007 L. Sue (Irvine, CA United States) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
The fruits and nuts are really good. I like that the nuts are unsalted. The bag is a lot smaller than I thought. I expected it to be twice as big for the amount that I pay per bag. It's cheaper to buy fruits and nuts from Costco or Trader Joes.
