Not fresh, color and taste faded compared to when bought in store December 20, 2008 A. August (United States) My family fell in love with Haribo Raspberries this fall when we tried our first bag from a local store-they were an instant hit. Fresh, vibrant colors, the non-pareils (sugar balls) on the outside burst in your mouth as you tasted them. Yum! However, I was instantly disappointed when the box I ordereed from Amazon arrived, instead of a fresh, vibrant red, the berries that should have been red were a faded, dingy tan-peach color. The black ones were still black, but when you handled them it left a brown residue on your fingers as if the color was leaching out of them. The color wasn't the only problem-the non-pareils didn't have that "burst" quality, they were rather bland and tasted old. I think the candy was old, or perhaps improperly stored, because it was still within the expiration date by a few months. Whatever the case, the large bag was nowhere near the quality or flavor that the locally purchased Haribo Raspberries were, and I'll not make that mistake again.
Beware... December 8, 2008 S. Kelly (PA) Crunchy balls of candy on the outside, chewy gummy in the inside. Sounds clever, but these are mostly gross. The black ones are more bitter than sweet. The red ones have a slight raspberry flavor and are tolerable, but nothing special. Don't buy 5lbs of these unless you are really sure you like them.
Delicious Raspberry Candy September 30, 2008 Debra L. Mesner (midwest) Wow...I found these at T. J. Maxx a few months ago. They are like biting right into fresh raspberries. I have seen them before, but I always thought that they were black and red licorice. NOT! They are delicious and you will not be disappointed. Great price. Better than Walmart!!!
Mmmmmmmm!!!! Couldn't be better! September 1, 2008 Holly E. Mckinney (Pineville, Mo USA) I am so glad to have found these on amazon! They are delicious!! Only one thing--they are so rich & delicious that you almost can't stop---don't make yourself sick on them! They are pretty hard to find so this made me very happy. Thanks for such a fine product.

I operate a Chocolate Fountain business and have started using these Raspberries as "Dipper" items...My guests are always very pleased with them...The combination of warm melted chocolate and these treats is wonderful...
