3 out of 5 stars Good and bad experiences.   December 19, 2008
Lori Yost (hollister florida)
My three year old son was put on this at birth. He did just fine and I never had any problems with him digesting, having gas, constipation, ect...

My daughter, that's another story. She got so constipated on this stuff she would go two days without going potty. And she started screaming terribly when she did go. She ended up being switched over to the GS soy, and then the natural cultures.

All in all, it all depends on the baby. Try it on a small can, and then if it works well, go to WIC and have them pay for formula. You can get any type of Goodstart on wic. You just have to have a reason to get something other than the purple or orange can. That is the cheapest way to get it. And wic doesn't go by income. rich and poor both are welcome to wic.

5 out of 5 stars The Best For My Baby Girl!!   November 20, 2008
T. thomas (long island new york.)
I'm a first time mom with a baby girl and when she was in the hospital she would drink similac advanced because we had a problem with the latching. Long story made short i've tried similac advance. organic, isomil, soy, she was so constipated but not to the point of suppositories. A friend of mines told me about nestle good start and it being closer to breast milk. It was such a drastic improvement over night. She loves it, and i love it because she loves it.

5 out of 5 stars Great formula, but better prices elsewhere   November 5, 2008
My Blue Heaven (Matthews, North Carolina)
All 3 of my boys, including my now 5 month old, have been on this formula. It's a great formula, but the price, at $149, almost $150, is not great. I just ordered it from BabiesRUs.com, for $136.75 - and a free shipping offer too. That's over $2 less for each container - not bad.

5 out of 5 stars Good Start is Great Start   October 22, 2008
Nancy C. Dow (Seabrook NH USA)
Finally a baby formula I like and one that not only is good for MY NEW GREAT GRANDDAUGHTER but she loves it too. I will be back to reorder soon!
Thank You

5 out of 5 stars Excellent formula   August 29, 2008
Jewels (Dallas, TX USA)
I spoke with 5 different pediatricians who all recommended this formula over all the other choices on the market. It is easy to digest, and a good balance of nutritional needs. Fortunately it happens to be more affordable than most of the other formulas, as well. Mixing the formula thoroughly can take a while, though. I found that if I mix all the powder I need for a bottle with only half of the water at first, and then add the rest of the water, that it mixes faster and more completely.
