I love Muir Glen products, but this did not live up to the product line. The soup was just broth and undercooked split peas, very runny and nothing like most split pea soups. The flavor of the broth was good so that's where the 2 stars came in, but the hard peas were not, they were like tiny little rocks. I used my immersion blender to try to thicken it up and then let the soup simmer for a few minutes in an attempt to soften up the remaining pea bits. I will NOT buy this product ever again. Do yourself a favor and make it yourself or stick to the king of the pea soups: Anderson's.
