Crown Prince Tongol Tuna September 8, 2008 readersmith 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Good tasting, quality tuna with convenient packaging - I appreciate having a source for this product. My only problem with this tuna is that, after being very satisfied with my first shipment, I ordered another box, thinking that it would be the same as the first. In the second shipment, the tuna in some of the cans was in somewhat solid chunks, as was the first shipment. In other cans, the tuna was almost of a grated consistency, and very mushy. It still tasted fine, but I was disappointed in the mushiness.
No fillers in this tuna May 25, 2008 S. Hottell (Aztec, NM USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Crown Prince Tongle tuna with no salt is the only kind of tuna I buy. The store brands now have hydrolized vegetable protein (HVP) added. I prefer the no salt product and I can always add a little unrefined salt myself if I want.
excellent product March 31, 2008 e.t. (Broke Down Town USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Great tuna, no or very low salt, in water, wonderfull taste and texture, not mushy. No negatives as far as I can see!!!! If you are used to salty types of this product it might take a little time to get used to the real taste of the tuna instead of tasting SALT. Remember....you can always add salt, oil, etc, to your taste...
Tongol Tuna no salt January 21, 2008 Kitowa (Michigan) Still don't know what Tongol is, but this tuna was great tasting, and I really like the easy to open cans!
Fresh Tasting From a Can August 29, 2007 Gabrielle Sappenfield 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Healthy eating is a life-style choice. Great tasting, high protein options are key to anti-aging. Crown Prince Natural Chunk Light Tongol Tuna packed in water is the BEST tuna on the market today; wild tuna, no salt, fresh taste, solid pieces. It's delicious right from the can.
