Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars excellent version   November 1, 2008
Quick Smart (Elgin, Illinois United States)
This desert will make your tongue stand up and say HI! It is different than anything western, but wonderful to the palate. You must have an open mind and enjoy well seasoned food, as much on Indian food is, and you'll be rewarded with desert so good, you're tempted to save it for special occasions. But you may enjoy it as part of your regular diet since all the work has been done for you.

2 out of 5 stars too oily   May 27, 2008

I love the non-dessert items from Kitchens of India, but this dessert was not nearly as good. It was very oily and greasy yet also mushy and grainy. The flavor also tasted a bit fake--like plastic or something synthetic.
