Wonderful meal! January 13, 2008 Kathryn Leon (Los Angeles) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This delicious dish may only come in an 10.5 ounce pouch, but it is very thick, like tomato paste, and needs some thinning. It makes more than you think it does. Just add some water to make a wonderful sauce. Great over rice. Be sure to rinse the pouch...you don't want to leave any of this behind! Nicely spiced and very flavorful.
Yummy Indian Delight Ready in Minutes Hot & Steamy January 8, 2008 C Ray (Nashville, TN USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I like it so well I've subscribed to it in Amazon Groceries to be delivered regularly. Makes a great side dish, lowfat, warm, nutritious, & delicious. Extremely spicy (which I love) but a warning to those who cannot handle very hot spices. I always serve it as a side dish but it could also be a meal. After dinner or with dinner, eat some yogurt to dull down the spicy/hot afterburn. Simply place the bag in boiling water for 5 minutes, cut open packet, & serve. No weird metallic tastes from packaging...you only taste the food. Yummy! I also like Tasty Bites similar products but this is just as good for about the same pricing. If you like Spinach and/or Indian food, you will love it!
Gits - Cheap Indian Food May 7, 2007 G. P. (Phoenix, AZ) 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
If you can get over the fact this stuff was pooped out of a machine into a foil wrapper, so that it resembles astronaut food, it's the cheapest way to get Indian food. It actually tastes pretty good. I've tried other Gits food and they were all acceptable. It might even be a good thing to take camping because of its durability and low weight. My momma was too drunk to be an astronaut, but even she says Gits Palak Paneer is tasty stuff.
Delicious! December 22, 2006 Jane Caroll (New York, NY) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I love indian food and Gits does it very well. It's spicy but not overbearingly so and not nearly as spicy as the indian food you get at a restaurant. Very good and a bargain at this price.
