RiceSelect Texmati with Red Rice and Beans Royal Blend is one of the best rice products on the market shelves. (IMO) This product is healthy, no salt, no fat, and cooks quickly. I never put extra salt in it. I use a low salt margarine. (that has no trans fat)Rice Select w/ red rice & beans is bland, but I love it that way. I'm not a spicy eater. You can spice it up w/ salsa, but margarine
is the best, in my opinion. I say, 'try it'

I crave this rice and beans mix. It cooks up fast in a rice cooker and is a great side dish for any meal. If you're used to heavily seasoned rice mixes, you may find this one to be on the bland side. I salt it up before serving and it tastes great. Another way I enhance the flavor is by adding high-quality olive oil to the cooking water.

My opinion (United States)
My 4 year old daughter loves this rice and bean mixture. I cook it in the rice cooker and she eats every last bit of it. Great product esp. if you don't want all the sodium that many other brands have in them.
