Delicious! November 15, 2008 N. Jack These Agra Peas & Greens are deliciousness. The greens (the 'spinach sauce' that covers the peas) are creamy and curry-flavored and smell delicious right out of the box. The peas are not too firm. Another reviewer said this entree was spicy. Mine was not spicy at all. This is one of my favorite Tasty Bite entrees so far. Others I enjoy are the Jaipur Vegetables (which if you like the Agra Peas I think you would enjoy very much), the Madras Lentils and the Kashmir Spinach (which I buy at Trader Joe's where it's called Palak Paneer and *is* spicy)). I heat them all in the microwave for one minute (covered with wax paper) then stir and heat for another minute. Comes out perfect temperature. Try it if you're thinking about it. If you like other Tasty Bite entrees, I don't think there's any reason you wouldn't enjoy this one, too.
great taste and easy to prepare July 12, 2008 J. Johnson (Maryland) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This product is consistant and tasty and exactly gives you what it says it will.
Mmmm. My favorite. January 11, 2008 S. Emberton 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Easy. Delicious. Healthy. I can't find this stuff locally. Amazon has this for a great price. I enjoy this meal best with nothing else. I tried this with quinoa, which was good, but I feel it distracts from the flavor and texture and is quite fine on it's own. I often feel as if I want more after I'm immediately finished eating (due to American-sized portions), but then soon a contentment sets in. I think it's the perfect quantity (300 calories), for a petite person. You boil the packet in water for 5 minutes, and it's ready. It even has an easy-open packet. Instant Indian food in a pouch! I also specially recommend the Kashmir Spinich, though they have a full line of goodies. I gave this to my very American-cultured mother for Christmas because I think even she will love this meal.
Pretty tasty December 6, 2007 Borat (NJ USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I like the eggplant better but the peas are good too. I like Tasty Bite entrees -- especially when they have no rice. I find that one box is enough for one person. Make you own rice or add some naan and you're in for a treat.
The BEST of all TASY BITE ENTREES.... November 9, 2006 Onmyown (AR, USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I've tried quite a few of the tasty bite products and this one is the BEST! What I do with this is mix it with rice. One pouch will typically give me 2 meals...Putting in the fridge the other half for later that day or next day.
