3 out of 5 stars Memories aren't always so correct.....   November 16, 2008
J. Kimbel (Virginia)
I loved this dinner as a child growing up, so when I found the chicken noodle dinner on-line I was excited. I got my 12 boxes in the mail, and geared up to make the first one. I was highly disappointed that it wasn't as good as I remember at all. It was just average.

5 out of 5 stars So yummy!   October 22, 2008

My family lived on this stuff in the 70's. It's as tasty as I remember. Not good for a daily diet, of course, but a wonderful weekly treat.

5 out of 5 stars A taste of my childhood   August 21, 2008
M. Crosson (Lombard, IL)
Noodles and chicken was a moderate staple of my childhood (along with Kraft Mac N Cheese and Spaghettios).

I had a craving for these a few months back and NO ONE but NO ONE carries them. My mom found them here.

They are much better with butter (as per the original recipe), instead of the healthy veggie oil version. The noodles stay a little firmer than your average mac n cheese noodle (not necessarily a bad thing, just FYI), but the flavour and everything is wonderful. Thank you Amazon!

5 out of 5 stars Great Pasta with chicken flavor! (no actual chicken in the mix.)   August 7, 2008
Not A Quitter (USA)
This is a great tasting, creamy, pasta dish. To cut the salt, use less of the seasoning packet (save rest to flavor gravy or soup.) Use 1 Tlbs each unsalted butter & oil for creamy. Using oil alone isn't great in this pasta - if you do, select a high quality EVOO (Extra Virgin olive oil) instead of other bland oils. Freeze the extra boxes and if you do find bugs, they're dead and can easily be picked out, then you rinse the pasta and proceed. Add a can of chicken for a main dish that feeds two adults. Our case arrived with no problems and no bugs. Great dish for the elderly, also, since pasta is small and creamy, easy to eat. Try it!

5 out of 5 stars Brings back memories   August 4, 2008

When I was growing up, my Mom made these Kraft noodles (with chicken flavor sauce) as a side dish when she made chicken. I always loved these. The only difference I found is that the instructions say to make it with two tablespoons of vegetable oil. When I was growing up, the box said to make it with butter. I made mine with butter and it is just like I remember it! I have searched and searched for this product in stores and was so thrilled to find it online.
