Loma Linda Fried Chik September 12, 2008 E. K. Moseley (AZ USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have been eating this fake chicken since I was a kid; hence using the word fake. We in our household just love this. It is easy, healthy and it tastes wonderful. You can eat it out of the can or cooked in many ways, as you would real chicken. It tastes better than real meat, but does take acquired tasted.
Veggie stuff September 10, 2008 David Nielsen (New Orleans, LA) What this product is not is most certianly chicken. It was a grievous error for Loma Linda to market as such. But assuming it's not going to look, or taste or feel like chicken what we can say is that it's delicious. It goes well into just about everything. If you are a new vegetarian or a well established one this is a great product. It's just not chicken
Great buy! Great taste! June 22, 2008 April (Georgia) These fried chik'n cutlets are a huge favorite around our house. I'm vegetarian, and the others are not, but we eat vegetarian within our walls. This chik'n has been a real hit, both as a meat-substitute item for a main dish (just thicken the gravy a bit), and chopped for turning into casseroles and rice dishes. The prices on these products are excellent compared to buying single hard-to-find cans on a grocery shelf. I buy this one on subscription every two months, because it is so useful.
Very delicious and practical! February 12, 2008 Susan K. Petersen 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Meat imitations can taste awful, but not this one! Very delicious. I haven't had it in a long time because it's a bit out of my budget, but I sure miss it. Everytime I pass it at the grocery store, I always look at the price, hoping for a sale. Makes a great quick meal. Goes great with leftover rice.
yummy January 3, 2008 Julianne C. Gentile (Cleveland, OH) These are really fantastic! They actually taste almost exactly like Tender Rounds, but with a different texture. The family loves them!
