 Not as good as the ones I bought when living in El Paso area November 23, 2008

I lived for 11 years near El Paso and occasionally would buy deluxe mixed nuts from their headquarters store. As I recall, the nuts in the bag were larger, and tastier. These are better than average, but don't quite measure up. Maybe these are the "export" version. This doesn't mean you won't find these these best mixed nuts you have ever tasted. They just don't quite measure up for me.

You would think the difference would be negligible, but there is a huge taste and texture difference between these nuts and your run of the mill Planters or Fisher nuts. Too expensive to buy all the time (I am on low carb and snack on nuts a lot), but definitely worth getting for a lovely little gnosh now and then!
I enthusiastically recommend them!
