 A healthy snack with an intriguing mix of flavors August 25, 2008

I first tried a different Sahale snack, Valdosta with pecans. Amazon offers a 6 type selection of these nutritious snacks and Dauphine was among them. I was skeptical at first...Lavender as a flavor? I am very pleased with the unique blend of flavors in this snack, walnuts, coconut, banana, and lavender. Each of the snacks I have tried in the Sahale line are very good with unusual combinations of nuts, dried fruits, and spices. Try them all!

This particular flavor is for a particular person, but I love them. I, also, love all the other flavors. The other flavor combos. have a more mainstream taste. More people like the others. But, this one is good for the culinary adventurer. haha

Totally awesome snack, the only problem is stopping before you eat the whole case! Perfect blend of salty and lightly sweet. You won't be disappointed!

These products are excellent when bought at a local store, but what I got, in spite of being five months from its "sell by" date, tasted decidedly antique. This was also true to a lesser degree of the "Soccorro" Macadamia / hazelnut snacks from Sahale. However, the "Soledad" almonds and "Valdosta" pecans were excellent, just as are those from the store.

This is yet another fabulous blend of ingredients; not too sweet, not too salty. Great for kids and us big kids who are on the go and tired of the same old trail mix/protein bars on the run. Keep up the good work
