Great for students in the dorm or someone without a rice cooker. I sent this to my daughter who is a freshman at college and she and her room mate love it! It is on the soft and fluffy side and serves a full japanese rice bowl. Delicious!

Fast, easy, and it tastes as good as rice cooker rice. No plastic taste. Fresh rice consistency. Right out of the pot quality.
