Customer Reviews:

3 out of 5 stars Would appreciate it if Bergin could add country of orgin on Amazon site regarding their products   July 30, 2008

I received today 6 lbs. of both organic red kidney beans (country of origin: China) and turtle beans (country of origin: U.S.A.)

I went to the Amazon site where the red kidney beans had been listed and see that they are no longer available.

I would prefer to know the country of origin when purchasing food. There is a legal disclaimer at the bottom of the page. I realize that it is probably impossible to list every country of origin on every product as it may change within a day.

I will try not to purchase any more food that has no country of origin listed on the website.

I don't know what has happened to the availability of red kidney beans, but it seems that over the past few years, they are harder to find, either dried or canned.
