Splenda is great September 19, 2008 John Van Uden (San Francisco Bay Area, CA, USA) This is a nice economical pack of Splenda, which is a great sweetener because it tastes just like sugar and since it is made from sugar, it is as close to sugar as you can get without your body metabolizing it (getting calories from it). I purchased it when it was on a Friday Sale. Just be aware that if you are going to cook with it, that it is more potent than sugar (add a lot less than the amount of sugar called for in recipes).
Splenda September 8, 2008 MosesJr (Lancaster, PA USA) Splenda is a great product and Amazon has it at a great price. We have tried them all and think Splenda is the best one. We have used it for several years and only two people have ever noticed a taste difference in the food we used it in.
Splenda bulk purchase August 28, 2008 C. Hughes (Michigan) As I use alot of Splenda, this was a great $$ deal on a bulk purchase, as compared to my local pricing.
The Only Sugar Substitute Without The Scary Health Warnings August 26, 2008 Nuknuk (Springfield, VA United States)
I am used to see either the pink (saccharin) or the blue (aspartame) envelope. One warns about cancer while the other one warns about brain damage. Splenda does not have any of those. Now, the pink and the blue are gone from our work office. First approved for use in Canada in 1991 and later on in the US in 1998. Splenda is multiple times sweeter than the previous sugar substitutes. Unlike saccharin, Splenda does not have a metallic aftertaste. Another advantage is that Splenda is stable under heat and can be used for baking.
Great value August 7, 2008 J. Grynberg (Chicago, IL) To get two boxes for this price is outstanding, considering I can get one at the grocery store for $15 plus tax. Well worth is, especially when it's a gold box deal, basically getting two boxes for three dollars more than I'd have to pay for one in the store.
