Product Description
Since 1706, Twinings of London has been masterfully blending teas to create a special moment with each cup of Green tea you brew. Now, they've brought all your favorite signature blends into a line of Keurig K-cups, for quick and easy single cup brewing with your Keurig beverage brewing center. Green tea is known for its smooth flavor and refreshing taste. Green teas are made from leaves of the Camellia Sinensis plant, the same leaves as black tea. Green teas go through a process where the leaves are heated to prevent oxidation while black teas are oxidized for additional color and flavor. The result is a delicious tea that brews to a light golden color and unique flavor. Twinings Green Tea is a style called "Sencha", known for its smooth, mild characteristics. Each of the two boxes come packed with 25 K-Cups that can be used with any style or model of Keurig brewing machines.

4 out of 5 stars Decent green tea   September 8, 2010
R. Buckman (Deptford, NJ)
Twinings Green Tea is decent. It's not too bitter (as others have stated) and has just enough tea flavor. I haven't tried the Bigelow for comparison, but I'll probably re-order Twinings through Amazon's subscribe & save.

1 out of 5 stars Awful   March 9, 2010
Sadie Smith (PA)
The tea is loose in the cup and the tea comes out into the cup. Not drinkable. It's like pouring loose tea into your cup and filling with hot water. It needs to be strained! I wanted to return the tea but it's not a returnable item, so now I am stuck with it.

5 out of 5 stars Wish Auto-delivery was still available   February 10, 2010
Chris in San Diego (San Diego)
A great tasting tea, in a perfect delivery device. What could be better? As soon as I received my first delivery, though, the auto-delivery option was cancelled. I'm dismayed. An outrage, to be sure. I agree with whoever it was that recommended making ice tea directly into an ice-filled glass. Tasts, easy, tidy. One of life's happiest experiences.

5 out of 5 stars best tasting green tea yet   December 9, 2009
Michelle Deford (Sumpter, Oregon)
I tried the Bigelow green tea first and wasn't too impressed. The Twinings Green Tea
had a better flavor and was not bitter

5 out of 5 stars USE THE CUPS MORE THAN ONCE!!! EXTRA VALUE!   November 16, 2009
N. Palmatier (chicago, il usa)
I don't know if most people know this or not, but in Japan we put loose green tea leaves in a pot and just keep pouring hot water over it until the "taste" is too weak. All the water must be poured out after no more than 3 minutes or else the tea will be biter. Thats why most Japanese tea sets are so small. Green tea isn't meant to be left in a teapot like english teas. So my first cup of green tea was actually a little stronger than I am used to and I actually got 3 uses out of ONE k-cup. I highly recommend using them more than once if you are making the tea one cup after another....and it will save you MONEY!
