Very good, but not "Premium" November 11, 2008 S. Harrison (Clements, CA United States) I like white tea because it lacks the bitterness that can be encountered with black and green teas, even after it cools. This tea is a very nice tea, but not really what I would call a "sit and savor the wonderfulness of it all" tea. It has a favor that is, to me, slightly reminiscent of peaches. The directions say to steep it one to three minutes. I recommend the longer steeping time. In my experience, steeping only one minute yielded a tea that was very bland. I bought this tea to drink during the day at work. It is fine for that purpose, and I will definitely buy it again.
White tea tastes freshly-picked October 26, 2008 B. Shinn (Sacramento, CA USA) Being sensitive to molds, as in teas, I tried this white tea leaf. With a little turbinado sugar, the flavor is crisp and my allergies weren't flared.
Good, solid product, not top-of-the-line September 18, 2008 A. Dent (USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The truth is, you almost always get what you are paying for. In the case of this product, you are a bit above the average 'value' curve. It's not my 'number one' white tea but it is a solid 'number two'. The kind I drink almost like I drink water, several cups a day. If you are seeking some mystical white tea experience, go for the premium alternatives. I have the true premium and I have the 'Stash Premium Tea' which is not exactly 'premium' but I enjoy drinking it. Oh, I subscribed for one box delivered each month. This takes another 15% of the price and you get free shipping even when you are under the $25 limit. And you can cancel any time.
