Raw Blue Agave June 8, 2008 J. WmsGreen (Kernersville, NC) This is an exceptional sweetener. It sweetens and does not interfere with the taste of the food. It is concentrated and can be used in hot teas and coffees and when cooking food. I have used it to make pies and cobblers. The only problem is that it is expensive!
Delicious & healthy May 2, 2008 V. Lefevre (San Jose, CA) Better than any kind of artificial sweetener, and with a delicious taste, the agave nectar is a great replacement for traditional sugar.
Best sweetener - ever! April 20, 2008 Dogueluv (Sewell, NJ) I've tried them all: stevia, sucanat, brown rice syrup, malt syrup. Agave nectar is the best. It tastes just like sugar, and no after taste like stevia. Check out the book Baking With Agave Nectar by Ania Catalano - a must have!
Great stuff! April 19, 2008 Curly girl (Richardson, TX) I had a friend introduce this to me so I bought it at Target. I loved it. It was great in my oatmel and coffee and it was much easier to pour than honey. I checked on Amazon and got it for a better price. The shipment was quick and nothing had leaked. I would definitely recommend this product.
Great stuff March 21, 2008 Charlie (Arlington, VA United States) I had tried clear agave nectar at a friend's and was impressed, so I took a chance on this darker raw version, and am really pleased with it. The taste is mild, difficult to describe -- something like a blend of honey, light molasses and caramel, but less aggressive. You may like it straight by the spoonful. It's great with cereal and in baked goods. And definitely try drizzling some over fresh grapefruit.
