Years ago I gave in to curiousity and had the French fries with Bernaise sauce at Bartley's Burger Cottage in Harvard Square, Cambridge, MA. They were soooo good I asked the waitress how they made the Bearnaise sauce. She leaned over and whispered in my ear: "Knorr." Now when I decadantly make my own fresh fries I make up a packet of Bernaise sauce to make it an real treat.
