Amazing Chips October 27, 2008 Linda S. Knotts (Deer Park, TX USA) I read about these chips on [...] web site and since I am on the Weight Watcher Program I decided to try them, as I had been in search of a product to replace regular chips. They are the most amazing chips I have had, I would rather have them than regular chips even if I was not on the Weight Watcher Program. I have shared them with my family and friends and they all like them. Thank You Popchips for your product.
Very good tasting. October 10, 2008 D. R. Gendreau Not exactly "Health food" but a decent snack instead of regular potato chips. I thought they had a very good taste. I bought these instead of buying more Nutrisystem junk. sorry Nutisystem I think part of the weight loss I had was because of not eating all the food because it tasted so bad. I bought dietary frozen meals (For less money) that taste a lot better too and am still losing weight. Of course it has fat AND carbs, you still need both to survive even on a diet. This is a decent snack that is not as bad as chips or other junk food for you.
Still lots of fat October 2, 2008 EV (Virginia, USA) 0 out of 7 found this review helpful
These may be lower fat than regular chips, but you're kidding yourself if you think these are truly healthy snacks. They still have 50% more fat than a lot of the baked chips, even if they use so-called "healthy oils." Oil is pure fat no matter what, and despite common wisdom to the contrary, the oils in products like this will clog your veins just as surely as any other oil.
Drooling! September 30, 2008 Goldensunshine (Dearborn, MI) Pardon me, while I wipe the drool from my keyboard so I can type this review! My friend just gave me a bag of the barbecue chips and I must say, they are the best thing ever! I really hope they start to market these in stores here in Michigan!
taste just like baked chips September 20, 2008 Annie (USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Contrary to the product's claim, popchips DO taste like baked chips with the specific artificial aftertaste of mashed-and-baked potatoes. This flavor is somewhat masked in the barbecue and salt-and-pepper varieties by abundant spices, which makes these ok.
