splenda products are good October 8, 2008 L. Minier (Fresno, California) I really like the mocha flavor and the lemon flavor is a nice light flavor. I couldn't find it locally so I had to look on line. Thanks
Accent only September 29, 2008 Laura Deane The name is very accurate, be aware the product does not make lemonade: not very sweet or very lemony. You may have to use 2 packets in a glass of water to be able to taste it. Does give water a "fresher" flavor.
Refreshing product September 6, 2008 M. Murphy (Vermont) The Splenda flavor accents (lemon) are so delicious. I have been using them for about a year. I use the packets when I just want a little extra kick to plain water. Great to take to a restaurant too. I just order ice water and pour one of the packets in, stir and voila you have a refeshing beverage. Not too sweet, just tastes like you squeezed a lemon or two into your water and no calories.
Subtle Flavor.....I Love It! August 2, 2008 LoriAnnR (Johnstown, PA) What a great idea and excellent packaging concept. When you get a little sick of just plain old water (and you don't have any natural accent available such as fresh lemon, orange, or mint), you can pop one of these in your bottled or tap water and presto.....rather than resorting to a carbonated/super sweet beverage, your water transforms into a slightly flavored drink with just a hint of sweetener (and zero calories). I suspect this accent packet would also be great in homemade tea. I carry a supply of these small packets everywhere: in my car, my desk drawer at work, my purse, and of course I have a stash at home. Since the packaging is not paper, they hold up very well and I don't worry about them accidentally opening and making a mess. The only down side to the packaging is that although you can open them by hand, it is a bit difficult (without resorting to using your teeth) and if I have scissors available, I just cut them open. These are great for people on the go. I think the lemon accent flavor is great and I look forward to trying the raspberry.
My ONLY healthy sweetener~ August 1, 2008 Merna D. Throne (USA) When Splenda first came I out I found it online and haven't gone back to Equal since. When baking Splenda 'holds' the sweetness, while others lose it in the baking process. Hands down, Splenda is the best!
