I've had good luck with Lipton - aka Knorr - side dishes.
While most are a bit bland I've never tasted one that had "off" tastes. That is quite an accomplishment for any prepared food. I have tried EVERY Lipton/Knorr side dish. None are bad!
This is one of my favorites. Add a bit of cracked pepper after cooking and it really is quite tasty.
There is no beef and/or beef extract in this dish. It has a creamy sauce with a vague hint of mushrooms.
It cooks fast, is very simple to prepare and you have a healthy sized SIDE dish for TWO - or a MEAL FOR ONE - or a small helping for FOUR.

Mmmmmmmm ... Pasta Sides! Now this is what my mother called "stick-to-your-ribs" food. It's filling and delicious!
I enjoy all the Sides, but this Stroganoff with "fettuccine in sour cream and mushroom sauce flecked with parsley" is my favorite, with Alfredo/Broccoli running a close second.
Served with a fresh garden salad and a cup of green tea ... Ah-hhh a quick, healthy feast ... fit for a Queen ... or even a writer. ;-)
The entire meal, including salad prep, takes less than fifteen minutes. What could be easier? Now dig in, kids, and enjoy ... I wouldn't steer you wrong.
