Tasty and mild April 7, 2008 I was very excited to find a Chai K-Cup. They are not very readily available. These are good and smooth, but I had hoped they would be a bit stronger. I am used to the Starbucks Chai latte which is quite spicey, so this seems a bit weak to me. But overall they are good and I will probably buy them again.
Not what I was hoping for! April 4, 2008 Chai Tea is my absolute favorite! So I was so excited to get these they have a good flavor they just are not strong enough.
Don't like it. February 25, 2008 It's not like any Chai tea you would buy at a coffee house, it's very weak and tastes like black tea. It tastes alright when you add alot of steamed frothed milk and some vanilla flavored creamer, but I won't buy it again.
Love it February 16, 2008 Never had Chai tea before, but my daughter likes it... I love this stuff. Bought a couple boxes and now I am back for more... it tastes great and everyone can drink it.
1/3 as strong as it should be January 5, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The aroma and flavor of this chai are pretty good, but it's nowhere near as strong as a chai should be. I have to use two k-cups on the smallest cup setting to make it approach the strength I like and stand up to the addition of milk. Most genuine masala chai recipes use a lot of milk (some are tea and spices brewed entirely in milk) -- but you can't add more than two tablespoons to a cup of Timothy's Chai without overly diluting the chai flavor. Hopefully they will come out with a "bold" or "extra strength" version that gives customers a less watery result so we don't have to resort to using multiple k-cups for one beverage.
