I've tried several other Sahale Snack and I loved them. This one was the exception. I think it was the figs that gave thie blend an off taste.

At first these seemed a great idea. But after digging enough to find the ENTIRE list of ingredients, which includes organic tapioca syrup, I realized that I'll have to pass on these. Any tapioca/manioc ingredient is an anti-thyroid ingredient, so folks with thyroid issues will have to avoid these snacks. Sigh.....

I got addicted to Sahale's snacks from the Tully's Coffee that was downstairs at work. After pretty much buying them out they didn't restock in enough time so I decided to take matters into my own hands and buy in bulk from Amazon. My 3 favorites are Socorro, Ksar and Soledad. If you want a healthy snack that tastes like you're indulging in sinful goodness then this is the snack for you.
Ksar is my personal favorite.

Simply put: it's my favorite snack. Completely healthy and not the "same-old-same-old" flavors. I order them by the 6-pack and re-order when I get down to one pack left.
I haven't tried the other flavors by Sahale yet; I can't get enough of this one.
Sahale Ksar Nut Snacks March 28, 2008

What started out a just a snack treat for me over two years ago has turned into the Sahale Ksar Nut selection being one of my main food groups. I have tried all of their nut mixtures, but the Ksar is beyond a doubt the best mix of nuts I have ever tasted. The fig pieces mixed in adds just a little sweetness and chewy quality to the mix. The chili flakes are HOT if you get one on your tongue alone, but mixed in with all of the nuts and figs, they are delicious. I have given bags away to friends and they are hooked. I order 36 bags at a time....one a day...and eat them as a snack, for breakfast and even sometimes for dinner. Even my grandkids love the fig pieces as they are too young for the harder nuts. Sahale has a treasure with the Ksar blend and I am totally hooked.
