 Delicious, but watch out for carb content July 29, 2008

This drink is absolutely delicious. However, the carbohydrates are 41g per can. A can like this should contain no more than 30g, preferably closer to 20g. 41g is just shy of 3 chocolate chip cookies. Personally, I'd rather eat the cookies if I'm going to splurge on 41g. Still, it's better than a soda or any other sugar filled drink. Just be advised.

This is a refreshing, delicious beverage that does not taste like a kid's drink: no artificial flavors or added sugar. The slightly cloying taste of pomegranate is improved by the addition of sweet & sour Montmorency cherry. Very nice!

Essn has just added another delicious flavor to their outstanding line-up of barely fizzy fruit juices. Each one is more delicious than the one before and each is a real treat. This new flavor is a combination of pomegranate and sour cherry juices and it really sings. I just got my first case of this juice and drank a can of it immediately. Wonderful! The flavor that I taste first is the pomegranate and then the cherry really shows at the finish. I can hardly wait to try it out at a Sunday brunch.
I have been really pleased with all of the Essn flavors I have tried over the past year and a half and do recommend them as a great alternative to icky old soft drinks.
