We're a happy hemp milk family! April 22, 2008 R. Campbell (Washington State, USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
When my family moved to a GFCF (gluten and casein-free) diet, we needed a healthy and tasty replacement for cow's & goat's milk - We found what we were looking for in hempmilk. The fatty acids are a welcomed nutritional benefit, my kids will happily drink it by the glass, and it works perfectly in place of cow's milk in recipes. It does require a good shake before drinking or baking, and the only downside I've discovered after several months is that I'm not a great fan of it in my coffee or tea, as it just doesn't really make the drink creamy. I like the mild but slightly nutty flavor (so mild that it's unnoticeable in smoothies, baked goods, etc), and it doesn't have the the beany flavor of some soymilk, or the sometimes bitter after-taste of ricemilk.
Tasty March 5, 2008 R. Fagon (Littleton,Co) Wasn't sure how it was going to taste, but I really think it is quite yummy, am enjoying my venture into healthier eating habits.
Hemp Milk September 13, 2007 Marion P. Furlong (Port Charlotte Fl) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have been using soy milk for many years and decided to try hemp milk because of the omega 3 and 6 it contained. I am a vegetarian and had been searching for an alternative to fish oil pills as a sourse of omega 3 and 6, (which I hated taking). I was so excited when I found this product, I was surprised at how good it tasted, I actually liked it better than soy milk, it had a nice taste and was creamy.
