Customer Reviews:

3 out of 5 stars Silk is great, this packaging is not   October 19, 2006

I love Silk, it's much better than all the other soymilks I've tried, and has half the sugar of cow's milk (plain Silk has 6 grams, the 1% organic milk in my fridge has 13.) Silk makes an unsweetened version if you're that anti-sugar, but even my dad's crazy vegan step-mom sweetens her homemade soymilk, and that's the only other soymilk I like.

I just have had problems with the aseptic packaging. I used to buy them by the case, and there was always sediment in the bottom that would not blend. On occasion a whole carton would be a gel-like mass, and once we got a whole case that was like that. Never had that problem with Rice Dream in the aseptic carton.

2 out of 5 stars Deficient   April 6, 2006

Like all other Silk soy products, this one tastes great. The only problem it suffers from the same deficiency, too: it contains cane juice. Thus Silk has more calories than soymilk should. And while it's loaded with calcium, it's also loaded with sugar. Skip it.
