only so-so November 10, 2008 jicama (Aiken, SC USA) You might think the scent clean. Its a mix between Coppertone and vinyl doll head (kinda beachy). Its not bad; its not spectacular. To reference what I like -Evellyn & Crabtree; Chamomile. Bath & Body; Bergamont Corriander-both lotions I can't buy unless I luck up on old stock. I wanted something clean and the reviews sounded good. I read the "doesn't last" reviews and bought a trial kit-oil, cologne and lotion and thought I'll layer & it should last better-NO. I only like a subtle scent, which is why I prefer lotions. This is no scent unless you squirt it on all day long. Won't buy again and gave it a 1. If the scent stayed on would have been 4. Test before you buy it.
If you want the scent to last... August 30, 2008 yankee in the south 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
You must layer the products. The first few times I used Pure Grace I knew it was a definite keeper. While I loved the fresh clean scent I realized everyone else did as well. I am a Respiratory Therapist at a trauma center and work midnights. Needless to say I am surrounded by some less than savory odors throughout my 12hr shift. At 4am one morning (2 1/2hrs before quitting time) an RN stated "wow you smell good". From that point on I cannot tell you how many nurses have asked what I was wearing and how to get it. Not only co-workers but patients as well, to most patients I'm greeted with "Oh you're the one that smells so good" which lends itself to the fact the scent is not overpowering seeing that I deal with a lot of sensitive patients when it comes to smells. In the grocery store, orthodontists office, hair stylist almost everyday I have someone compliment me and ask what I'm wearing. Did I mention I LOVE Pure Grace?
clean and beachy scent...i love it! August 2, 2008 A. Brannan (Atlanta, GA United States) i love this scent SO much. it smells like clean cotton t-shirts and the beach. that's the best way i can describe it. love it.
Smells So Clean! June 25, 2008 PureGrace (U.S.) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The pure grace line is probably the only philosphy product I cannot do without. I love how clean pure grace smells. It definitely doesn't smell like the perfume "Clean" (which is overly priced). It's truly a soap-and-water smell. I've gotten so many compliments on how good I smell. People don't ask me what perfume I'm wearing. They just simply tell me that I smell nice. amazing grace seems to be the bestselling scent for philophy in the U.S., but pure grace is the bestselling scent in Europe! A lot of people in healthcare wear this scent because it smells so clean and is so unobtrusive. I have even found that some men wear this scent because it's a simple clean smell. I can't say enough great things about this scent! the "spray fragrance" version (eau de toilette) doesn't have a lot of staying power, so it's better if you try to layer it. philosphy has recently launched ther parfum version. I don't have the parfum one, so I don't know if it has more staying power.
It's Just Okay April 18, 2008 Natasha Diana (on the planet) Well, I'm a bit disappointed in this fragrance. It is light and not overpowering, which is great. What I don't like is it reminds me somewhat of your grandmother's perfume. lol I'm surprised because I thought I would really like it, so won't be purchasing this again.
