creamy delight December 19, 2008 Laura Jegers i recently acquired one of these eyeliners in black diamond. it goes on softly so it doesn't tug at my eyes, and lasts all day. although a con for some, is the black isn't jet-black, but it is perfect for smudging or a "softer" black.
Another Clinique Staple December 2, 2008 ella.rogue (Cleveland, OH) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I use many Clinique products, and this pencil has become another one of my favorites from the line. I own the pencil in Egyptian and Chocolate Lustre - Egyptian is a very dark forest green color with somewhat of a sparkle, Chocolate Lustre is a dark brown with a shimmer (hard to tell from the color swatches here). I mostly use either the Clinique Quickliner or the Clinique Brush-On Cream liner (another excellent product) on the top lid, and finish off with the Cream Shaper on the bottom. It's great for smudging and creating that smoky look, but also stays on very well and does not run into the corners of my eyes like many liners. In fact it stays on so well, that you'll need a good make-up remover to take it off. I usually dab a Q-tip in the remover and run it around my eyes.
Great, creamy, smudgy eyeliner March 23, 2007 playsindirt (Saint Charles, MO USA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
While not a cheap pencil, this does the job beautifully with long-lasting, blendable color. I was actually surprised at the staying power of this pencil. If you're after a precise line, maybe shop elsewhere. The downside is that it requires constant sharpening so it won't last long. Another plus is that the colors all have a bit of a glint which I think is rather unusual in a liner pencil. The Brown Sugar is a nice alternative to dark brown or black for day for my light brown eyes.
