This brush works great with the Bare Minerals concealers, and does exactly what it's supposed to. Also, the brush is well made (no "shedding" experienced during use which happens so often in cheap brushes). For use with powder concealers, I can definitely recommend this brush.

You have got to feel it (and use it) to believe it. Great ingenuity. I love all of the BE brushes that I have tried. They are well-made and use-specific, but this brush is REALLY clever.

I love this brush! It is the perfect brush for applying my creamy concealer (which is not made by BE). Makes for a more precise application than using a finger. Also, gentler than using a finger.
However, $20 is way too much for one brush.

This brush comes in the bare escentuals starter kits, but I am here to tell anyone looking at this product that it is my most prized possesion in my make up bag. It lifts the powder foundation and you brush it on any blemish, dark under eye circles, redness, bruising, scarring, and its seriously is magically gone, as if i just photoshopped it gone!

I received this brush when I bought the Get Started kit. The first time I used it, it shed. I've used it maybe 20-30 times since then and it still sheds (although it may be only one bristle or part of a bristle at a time).
I used this to apply my BE mineral foundation and now my Everyday Minerals foundation. It does a great job of helping me to cover up some spots that I have on my face. The Kabuki brush just can't get my dark spots covered as well as this brush does. My one other problem (besides the shedding bristles) is that a lot of the foundation sinks to the bottom of the bristles and therefore a lot of foundation gets lost in it. I have to clean the brushes way too often. This is why I'm only giving it four stars.
I prefer brushes with soft bristles and this one is a pretty good one. However, I'm sure there are better ones out there.
[Update 10/29/07: I still use this brush almost daily. The bristles still fall out on occasion and the foundation still sinks to the bottom of the brush. Another thing I notice is that if I press down and swirl the brush onto my face (like the BE people suggest we do), my skin becomes itchy and irritated. Maybe I need to buy another brush?]
